Fortune's Curious George,
thrilled us by finishing his show championship in style with two more major wins
by going
Winners Dog, Best of Winners and BEST OF BREED two days on the Kentucky
circuit under respected breeder judges,
Tom & Gail Shearer. Thanks to all who have helped us enjoy these wins!!!
Fortune's Curious George, aka
Monkey is the man!!! He wowed us again by going Reserve Winners Dog
at the Atlanta
Supported Entries under breeder judge, Debra McKinley and then...drumrolll....
by going Winners Dog the next day for a 4point major under
respected breeder judge, Lisa Weiss. Many thanks to those who cheered him
on!!!! YIPPPEEE!!

Kudos again to Monkey, our
Fortune's Curious George, as he goes Winners Dog in Atlanta for a
Major Win
under respected Judge Don Sturtz!! YEAH!!
Congratulations to our Fortune's Curious George
for going Winners Dog & Best of Opposite at the Chattanooga, TN dog shows
under
respected judge, Bonnie Threllfall. Way to go Monkey!!!

Hats off to Laura Quinlivan of
Wyoming, with her boy, Fortune's The Grand Tycoon, aka Kona, for
achieving their first
Qualifying Novice Agility Leg and by winning the Novice Agility Class at
an AKC Agility competition in Idaho! WAY TO GO!!

At the Beaufort Kennel Club show held
in May, we had a great time!! Our boy,
Fortune's Curious George, thrilled us by going Winners Dog and our
girl, Fortune's Jet Puffed took
Winners Bitch & Best of Opposite too! It was an incredible day for
all of us!!

Fortune's Colby Jack
At the Myrtle Beach Kennel Club shows held
in April, we had an incredible weekend!! Our boy,
Fortune's Colby Jack, thrilled us by going Winners Dog, Best of
Winners & Best of Breed both days.
Also, to make the weekend even better, our two litter sisters, Fortune's
Shake Your Groove Thing &
Fortune's Outside the Bun (loved & co-owned by Amy Gibson) are now
affectionately known as the "Pointed Sisters" took a
Winners Bitch & Best of Opposite award each day!

At the Coastal South Carolina LRC
shows held in January, our girl, Fortune's Gimme A Kiss really wowed
us by going
BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES and then her brother, Fortune's Curious George,
going BEST OF OPPOSITE IN SWEEPS to her!!
It was quite a day for all of us!!!!

At the Raleigh-Durham Labrador
Retriever Club Specialties held on November 9th & 10th, 2006, all of our
Labbers thrilled
us by doing really well! Fortune's Gimme A Kiss, aka Smooches, won her
regular class the first day and placed 2nd the next and she was
2nd in her Sweeps classes both days. Her brother, Fortune's Curious
George, aka Monkey, won his regular & sweeps class the first day
and went on to RESERVE WINNERS DOG and BEST OF OPPOSITE IN SWEEPSTAKES.
Then, on the second day, he got 2nd in his
regular classes, but then thrilled us by going BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES!!
Lastly, our boy, CH Surry's Ummagumma at Fortune, aka Gilmour,
earned the first JUDGES AWARD OF MERIT on the day one and then went
BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX on the second.
WHAT A FABULOUS TWO DAYS OF SHOWING!!!! WOW!!

At the AQHA REGIONAL SHOW in Perry, Georgia this August, BAD ACID,
aka Johnny, took me to the CHAMPIONSHIP in the
Amateur Hunter Under Saddle division and RESERVE CHAMPION in the
SENIOR HUNTER UNDER SADDLE division. We
won a beautiful winter blanket for Johnny and an incredibly too big for your
belt buckle!! After some much needed rest after last year's showing,
we are thrilled to have done so well!! Many thanks to our trainers Kelly &
Rick Christy of Christy Quarter Horses in Ocala, Florida.

At the Raleigh Circuit of
Shows held in March, our boy Surry's Ummagumma at Fortune totally wowed
us by winning the first three days of the circuit!!! AND, he finished with
his last win by going BEST OF BREED and becoming a new CHAMPION!!!
