Older but Wiser

In addition to the young pups we have listed, we occasionally have older dogs available.  These dogs have become available due to a
number of reasons.  They might not have the right attitude for the show ring or the field, they may not have the necessary health clearances
to be a part of our breeding program or they may only have a minor physical flaw, such as a bad bite, that will prevent them from showing.
  Alternatively, they might be retired from showing or moms done with their final litter.  When any of this happens, we try to find the dog
the best possible home that matches with their personality.  

All older but wiser dogs are sold with the understanding that they will be altered, if not done prior to placement.

One of the best things to remember about getting a dog that is older, is that he/she will have some basic obedience training, be socialized, and
be able to sleep all night long in his/her crate.  Additionally, one of the greatest things about an older dog is that by being crate trained, they are usually
well on their way in the house training process.  We never promise that any of our dogs are 100% housebroken, as dogs always need time to adjust to new environments and new routines..   If you are interested in any of these dogs, please contact us and we will be glad

~~~~FLASH~~~~ Dude is now in his new home in Virginia!!  He has a Jack Russell Terrier to keep him entertained,
many fields to explore and lots of many butt-tucking episodes to come on the farm!  Of course, we certain he'll
enjoy the company of his new humans too!

hopefully he'll get to visit with his mom and grandmom on occasion.  In the meantime, we're certain he's entertaining
everyone with his love for flying insects!!!
