Older but Wiser
In addition to the young pups we have listed, we occasionally have older dogs available. These dogs have become available due to a number of reasons. They might not have the right attitude for the show ring or the field, they may not have the necessary health clearances to be a part of our breeding program or they may only have a minor physical flaw, such as a bad bite, that will prevent them from showing. Alternatively, they might be retired from showing or moms done with their final litter. When any of this happens, we try to find the dog the best possible home that matches with their personality.
All older but wiser dogs are sold with the understanding that they will be altered,
if not done prior to placement.

Fortune's Julep
Whelped June 10, 2011~~~FLASH~~~ Julep is now in her her new home!!
Julep is well... a mess! She is gregarious, outgoing, full of beans and loves everything & everyone! She loves to go on walks on lead, however, she is just so darned happy that she spends a few moments pretending she's a gazelle at times. She's good in her crate and is very affectionate, not hesitating to give you a quick bark if you're not paying attention to her. She is good with children, and VERY interested in the cats!Recently Placed
Fortune's Wiggles
Whelped December 29, 2009~~~FLASH~~~ Wiggles is now in her new home on the beach with an older 4 legged Lab sister to keep her company and teach her all about the waves!!
Fortune's Butterball
Whelped November 24, 2009~~~FLASH~~~Butterball is now in her new home on neighboring Kiawah Island. She'll get to explore the beach for the first time and have lots of grandchildren to spoil her even more rotten than she already is!!

Whelped March 31, 2010~~~~~FLASH~~~~Joy-mima (pronounced Jemima) will soon be in her new home with
a fellow Fortune Labrador!! She's traded beaches for snow and we know is going to
have a blast romping around in it!!
"Fortune's Sizzle"
Whelped March 3, 2010~~~~~FLASH~~~~~Sizzle is an active young gal who loves attention and now has two
human parents to shower her with love daily!! She's in Lutz, Florida and is looking
forward to learning all about her new swimming pool and 4-legged buddies
in her neighborhood to play with!!One of the best things to remember about getting a dog that is older, is that he/she
will have some basic obedience training, be socialized, and be able to sleep all night
long in his/her crate. Additionally, one of the greatest things about an older dog is
that by being crate trained, they are usually well on their way in the house training process. We never promise that any of our dogs are 100% housebroken, as dogs
always need time to adjust to new environments and new routines.. If you are
