PERSONAL STATEMENT

Fortune Labradors is dedicated to the betterment of the breed through the careful selection of dogs that are going to be bred by evaluating temperament and soundness, having our dogs evaluated by judges at conformation shows and by proving their performance in the field or obedience ring.

First and foremost, our goal is to raise dogs with wonderful temperaments that are a joy to live with.

Secondly, our goal is to produce a dog that excels in conformation and is also a great gun dog/retriever.

It is very important that the dogs we produce retain the ability to retrieve, as well as be a good representative of the breed. While you may be seeking a companion for your family and have no intention to ever show or hunt your dog, breeding for the overall health, versatility and temperament helps to produce what a Labrador should truly be: AN ALL-AROUND GREAT DOG!

When we decide to breed one of our girls, we do so with purely selfish intentions.  We do so in hopes of getting a pup for ourselves that represents our ideal Labrador.  Because of this, we may keep 2, 3 or more out of the litter.  We never breed any of our dogs to just sell the entire litter of pups and we are very particular about where our pups are placed.  We may ask you a lot of questions about how your puppy will live with you, so please do not be offended if you are seriously interested in obtaining one of our dogs.   If you are interested in possibly attaining one of our dogs, we encourage you to email or phone us, as we would love to speak with you further.  If trying to reach us via telephone, please be patient, as we both work and only have a limited amount of time each evening to return phone calls.

All of our breeding stock is OFA'd and CERF'd. All puppies are sold on Limited Registrations.

Who says Labs don't make good watchdogs?? ?

Is this what we call "dog-tired"?

I think this epitomizes the saying "BED-HEAD" quite perfectly!!
